ugh first off sorry for turning this thing into a cancer blog, not cool.

Next update I’m hoping will be a SDCC wrap up with pics etc cos seriously Arbey, lighten up. sheesh!

 

Ok anyway here we go:

Third (and final biopsy) showed no cancer at all so yay!

Major reconstruction surgery begins next Monday along with removal of some lymph nodes to make sure it has not traveled to blood stream.

If nodes are clear no chemo, if not then chemo.

Reconstruction will be 3 surgeries over 12 weeks and pretty disfigured looking for a while 🙁

He’s really bummed about that because they go out to eat like every night and he’s pretty sure he’s not gonna want to go into the world looking like this.  And he’s told he can’t bandage it…

Anyhow overall much better news today than it was looking like. Now the last scary thing is lymph results and then healing from reconstruction.
